These are beautiful! I think this is such a creative idea! I am writing a paper about how graffiti is art and vandalism and I think this is a very creative way to show that it isn’t! Amazed!

Thank you so much for your correspondence, and I do hope that I didn’t cause you and the rangers too much trouble. If you or any of your coworkers would like to keep the piece, please feel free. It really is in the spirit of the project to have pieces taken down – no worries!

If no one wants it, and it’s not too much trouble, I’m sure the folks at Dojo4 (2030 17th Street) wouldn’t mind finding it propped up against their door!

Hi Andrew,
Love the photos! I’m a ranger with Open Space and Mountain Parks and unfortunately have to put a restriction on your locations. Please do not hang them on City OSMP. I’d much rather have people be able to engage in your project than have rangers pull the photos because we have no choice but to do so. Andrew, I recently saw your Daily Camera article and am intrigued. Bravo to Awesome Boulder for supporting your project. I work with at risk teens and homeless youth and we love to bring in artists and inspiring individuals to share their craft and talent with our kids. You are quite correct – some of the pieces had a erroneous date on them; of course a printing error on my end. I was concerned about this until I realized that even some of the pieces with correct dates came up missing in a matter of days – which is completely in the spirit of the project!

Are you sure you put the right date on them…? Im almost certain I saw one that said “please steal after 5/1/2011
