Sneak Peek #1
I’ve been busy shooting around Boulder, getting prints made, and starting on the framing process. Very exciting times! I thought I’d share with you a small sample of what will be going up in the next couple of weeks…
I’ll be updating more frequently now that the ball is rolling fast - stay tuned!
Andrew, I enjoyed your photo hanging at the base of Redrock trail off Pearl. I live in the red brick building. I took the photo and decided that it should be displayed longer so I returned it. It was still there this morning, but someone took it a few hours later. Now, I wish I had kept it. Could you put another photo there? Great idea. I actually loved the photo. Fred

Fred, Thank you! The pieces have been going fast, which is pretty wonderful. Sorry your good deed went south. I believe the piece you are referencing is “Hold” (the canone)?
As for hanging another piece, I’ve actually finished the run of pieces for this project – sadly there are none left to hang. Still, please email me at andrewkurcan@gmail.com, and I’ll send you something.

Andrew, I recently saw your Daily Camera article and am intrigued. Bravo to Awesome Boulder for supporting your project. I work with at risk teens and homeless youth and we love to bring in artists and inspiring individuals to share their craft and talent with our kids. Would love to explore whether you’d ever come for a visit and possible workshop. You can reach me at cclurman@atttentionhomes.org. I’ll email as well. Congratulations and thanks for giving back to our community.

Claire, thank you!
I will be emailing you shortly – that sounds like a wonderful idea, and I’d be glad to lend a hand.
